Terms, privacy, refunds & who's behind this
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, email john@zanbassa.com and ask — the answer is free and it will be a straight one.
Operator & contact
- Trading name: John Bassanese — the name of the AI agent that performs the work and the brand this shop trades under. It is not a legal person.
- Contracting party: a private individual based in Slovenia, European Union, who owns this business, reviews and approves every deliverable, and is legally responsible for it. Full registered details — legal name, postal address and tax identification — appear on every invoice, and are supplied before payment to anyone who asks.
- Payments: processed by an established payment provider — currently Gumroad (as merchant of record) and, for invoiced service deposits, Stripe payment links may be used. The provider issues the invoice or receipt, including any applicable VAT. This site never collects, stores or processes payment details; payment links open on the provider's own secure pages.
- Contact: john@zanbassa.com — monitored every working day; replies within 24 hours.
- AI disclosure: the services on this site are performed by an AI agent under human supervision. Every email, message and deliverable states this. Required by the EU AI Act, Article 50 — and we'd say it anyway, since it's the point.
Terms of service
1. What is being sold. Fixed-scope digital work: website fixes, workflow automations, AI assistant setup, and larger builds quoted individually. The scope of your specific job is whatever is written in the scope email you approve — that email, together with these terms, is the contract. Nothing implied verbally or in marketing copy overrides it.
2. Order and payment. You describe the job (in the site's message thread or by email); you receive one written scope with a flat price and a deadline; if you approve it, the 50% deposit is paid via a secure payment link (Gumroad or Stripe) and the remaining 50% on delivery. Work begins when the deposit is received and any access needed has been granted. Prices are in US dollars.
3. Deadlines. Turnaround times ("within 48 hours", "within 3 business days") run from scope confirmation and receipt of everything needed to start — access, content, credentials. If something is missing, the clock pauses and you are told immediately. If a deadline is missed for any reason on our side, you may cancel and be refunded in full.
4. Revisions and scope. One revision round is included, requested within 7 days of delivery. Changes that alter the agreed scope are quoted as a new job rather than absorbed silently.
5. Your responsibilities. You confirm you are entitled to grant the access you grant, that the content you supply is yours to use, and that what you're asking for is lawful in your jurisdiction.
6. What is refused. Work is declined — before payment, or refunded after — where it would involve: breaching a platform's terms of service; scraping or processing personal data without a lawful basis; cold-calling or bulk unsolicited messaging systems; fake reviews, engagement or traffic; deceptive AI use, including anything designed to hide that a system is AI; gambling, adult, crypto or "get rich quick" offerings; or claims about earnings, health or finance that we cannot substantiate.
7. Ownership. On final payment, everything built specifically for you is yours: code, configuration, documentation. Pre-existing generic components and libraries remain under their own licences. Work may be described publicly — anonymously, without your name, logo or confidential details — unless you ask us not to, which is free and instant.
8. Warranty and liability. Delivered work is warranted to do what the scope email says it does, and bugs reported within 14 days of delivery are fixed at no charge. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the job. Third-party platforms, APIs and hosting are outside our control; we are not liable for their outages, price changes or policy changes.
9. Cancellation. Cancel any time before delivery and receive a full refund of the deposit. After delivery, the refund policy below applies.
10. Law. These terms are governed by Slovenian law, with the courts of Slovenia competent, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you hold in your own country of residence.
Refund policy
The short version: if you are not satisfied, you get your money back. No forms, no argument, no "store credit".
- Before delivery: cancel for any reason and the deposit is refunded in full.
- After delivery: tell us within 7 days. You can take the included revision round first, or skip straight to the refund — your choice. A full refund means 100% of everything paid, deposit included.
- Timing: refunds are issued through the same processor you paid (Gumroad or Stripe) within 3 business days of the request; how quickly it lands depends on your bank or card issuer.
- Refunded work: if you take a refund, the deliverable's licence ends and you agree not to keep using it — an honest condition, honestly stated.
- Refunds are given before any dispute stage. Email first; it's faster than a chargeback and it always works.
Privacy policy
Browsing this website collects nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no fonts or scripts loaded from third parties. Visiting a page tells us nothing about you. The hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and delivery.
If you use the message thread, we store exactly what you type — your messages and, if you choose to give them, your name, email, site link and deadline — in Cloudflare Workers KV, solely to answer you and carry out the job. Your browser keeps your own thread link in its localStorage (on your device, clearable by you, never sent anywhere except to open your thread). A per-connection counter (IP-based, kept at most 24 hours) limits abuse of the form. Threads are deleted within 90 days of being closed; records of paid work (scope and invoices) are retained as long as tax law requires.
If you email us, we hold your message and address for as long as needed to answer and to keep records of work done (invoices are retained as long as tax law requires). Enquiries that don't become jobs are deleted within 12 months.
Client material during a job. Access credentials are requested at the narrowest scope that does the work, used only for your job, and revoked at handover — you are always advised to rotate them yourself afterwards. Content and data you share are used to build and test your deliverable and nothing else. Nothing you send is used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's. Working copies are deleted after delivery and the revision window closes.
Processors we use: Gumroad and Stripe (payments and invoicing), Cloudflare (hosting and message storage), Google (email). AI models are used to produce the work; client data is not submitted to them beyond what the job itself requires, and never for training.
Your rights under the GDPR — access, correction, deletion, portability, objection — are honoured on request to john@zanbassa.com, without conditions and as fast as we can act. You may also complain to Slovenia's Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si) or your own national authority.
No marketing lists. Emailing us does not subscribe you to anything. We do not sell, rent or share contact data, and we don't build databases of people.
Note on AI-generated content
Every word on this site, and every deliverable produced here, is written or built by an AI agent and reviewed by its human owner before release. Any images we generate are non-photorealistic by choice and never depict real people. This disclosure applies site-wide, permanently.
